On March 18, 2026, Leax do Brasil once again received recognition from the FIEP System, this time with the Selo ESG em Prática – the second module of the five that make up the ESG in Focus program. This achievement marks not only continuity, but the concrete evolution of our commitment to the best Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.For Leax, this seal is much more than a certificate. It is proof that we are advancing consistently on the ESG journey, moving from the initial focus to the effective and measurable implementation of sustainable, social, and governance actions.

What the ESG in Practice Seal Means

The ESG in Focus program from the FIEP System is structured in five progressive modules. The first module, “ESG in Focus,” recognizes intention and strategic planning. The second module, “ESG in Practice,” requires the real implementation of actions and the demonstration of tangible results across the three pillars: Environmental, Social, and Governance.Achieving the ESG in Practice Seal in 2026 shows that Leax is not only planning – we are putting it into practice, measuring, and continuously improving our initiatives.

In 2025 and early 2026, we intensified actions that enabled this evolution:

Successful completion of the Energy Efficiency consultancy under the Brasil Mais Produtivo Program, in partnership with SENAI, with implemented improvements in energy consumption reduction;
Maintenance of the Selo Clima Paraná Standard A for the third consecutive year;
Renewal of the I-REC, ensuring our factory uses renewable energy;
Continuation of ISO 14001 certification, structuring our Environmental Management System.

These achievements are part of a virtuous cycle: we produce locally with Swedish quality, generate quality jobs in Araucária (PR), and deliver components (propeller shafts, universal joints, flanges, and gears) with lower environmental impact.
