A wide range of parts are produced for the automotive industry, mining and construction, agriculture, and general industry, which requires competence for machining shafts, wheels, thin rings, and shells. Advanced geometries and demanding inspection of dimensions and surfaces. For example, gears, slots, and support surfaces. Castings, bars, tubes, and forgings blanks. All sizes, from a few grams up to 1,250 x 1,250 x 1,000 mm in machining centers, and 650-diameter and 2500-mm-length in lathes. Maximum weight 2,200 kg. To be competitive, LEAX continuously improves its processes in-house, as well as in cooperation with leading cutting technology and machinery suppliers and research centers. An important part of metal cutting production are the so-called “extra operations”, like deburring, marking, and cleaning in an accurate and efficient way. LEAX is well prepared to manage all aspects with both simple solutions, when sufficient, and with advanced solutions, when necessary. In the process, we use measurement as a follow-up and statistical control procedure.
