Leax Brazil, present in the country since 2012, adheres to a work philosophy of leaving no stone unturned to enhance the technical skills and efficiency of its employees. Last week, the company hosted the “Lean Day,” a significant event that involved 100% of its staff. Held on September 14, 16, 17, and 21, the “Lean Day” included the Lean Game Workshop, a unique and interactive experience aimed at understanding Lean Manufacturing methodology. This 8-hour training, spread over several groups, covered essential tools such as 5S, Continuous Flow, PDCA, VSM, and SMED. With a playful and innovative approach, the Lean Game was designed to empower employees to become multipliers of this philosophy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to conduct a Value Stream Mapping of the current state in a specific production line, allowing for a practical and enriching learning experience, even without developing the future state. This hands-on and engaging approach enables employees to adopt new management practices and improve production outcomes systematically.

The goal of this training was to introduce LEAN principles to all our employees to further strengthen the LPS (LEAX Production System) in our facility. The Lean Day was conducted in partnership with the Fiep SENAI System, the Fiep SESI System, Habitat SENAI, and the SESI Innovation Center. These institutions provide expertise and technical support, contributing to Leax do Brasil not only manufacturing quality products but also creating a work environment conducive to innovation and professional development.
